About Me

My name is Sinéad, I have been a vet for over 15 years and over that time I have developed a passion for trying to make those final moments we spend with our pets as gentle an experience as it can hope to be. Many pets really don’t enjoy coming to the vets and so I started to think about ways that reduce any anxiety for them; as a result of this I decided to set up Forget Me Not Vets, allowing you to say goodbye to your pet in the comfort of your own home, in surroundings familiar to them and so causing as little stress to them as possible. 

Last year I said goodbye to my beloved collie of 14 years, as a vet I was able to do this at home with her family around her and it was a lovely, peaceful experience. It made me realise the importance of being able to offer this opportunity to others that may want it.
